Drill Team Officer Prep is a class for high school teens currently on drill/dance team hoping to audition for an officer position. Taught by Kalette Alspaugh, Beautiful Feet Studio owner and former Foster Flairs Colonel, this class is the perfect fit for the dancing drill/dance team member who would like to improve her dance technique, choreography creation abilities, and leadership skills in hopes of a successful audition for an officer position to lead her fellow high school drill/dance team members to competitive and performance victory! Note: We do not and cannot guarantee your acceptance into an officer role at any high school; however, we do guarantee that each and every student who fulfills their commitment to 1-2 years of this class will walk into her officer audition with FULL confidence and prepared to present her very best with excellence!
It takes much more than just great technique to succeed as a drill/dance team officer; Instructor Kalette knows this from experience! Kalette LOVES drill/dance team and is prepared to help you/ your daughter be her very best and shine in her upcoming officer audition!

Dancers enrolled in Drill/Dance Team Officer Prep will work to improve their basic ballet, jazz, and contemporary technique as well as improve their ability to lead others and create their own group and solo choreography!
Students enrolled in Drill/Dance Team Officer Prep need to wear any color or style of tights, leotard, dance pants and cover ups. Ballet shoes are required. You may also bring modern dance sandals if you desire. Every student in Drill/Dance Team Officer Prep will need to faithfully bring her own notebook and pen to each class as well as her weekly planner.
Yes! Any first time Beautiful Feet Studio of Dance & The Arts member is invited to try one class for free as long as there is space available in the class. You must be pre-registered for the class and you may check space availability for a free trial with a friendly member services assistant by calling 281-456-3338 (FEET).
Please note that certain classes will be closed to new enrollment during certain months of the year when partners and members are preparing for performances or during certain fine arts projects. Please express your interest to the owner by emailing Kalette@beautifulfeetstudio.com and we will make you aware of the next available enrollment time.
