Our Pre Pointe Ballet Class is a specialized Intermediate Ballet class focused on the building of technique and strength for dancers who are ready or are preparing to dance en pointe. The class will include barre work, center technique, and will end with strengthening exercises for pointe work.
Students must either audition or be recommended by the ballet instructor to take the class. Readiness for pointe shoes will be determined by the instructor. The student's age and proper development of strength in his or her ankles, legs, and core will be taken into consideration.
Former professional dancer for the Ad Deum Dance Company and Sam Houston State dance program graduate, instructor Ms. Emily is thrilled to help your child prepare to dance en pointe! Ms Emily has over a decade of dance teaching experience with all ages and is full of joy!
Pre-Pointe is for ballet students at least 9 years old with a minimum of 2-3 years of previous ballet experience. The student must audition or be recommended by her ballet teacher to enter this class to ensure the proper strength has been developed to prevent injury and further proper technique.

Yes! Any first time Beautiful Feet Studio of Dance & The Arts member is invited to try one class for free as long as there is space available in the class. You must be pre-registered for the class and you may check space availability for a free trial with a friendly member services assistant by calling 281-456-3338 (FEET).
Please note that certain classes will be closed to new enrollment during certain months of the year when partners and members are preparing for performances or during certain fine arts projects. Please express your interest to the owner by emailing Kalette@beautifulfeetstudio.com and we will make you aware of the next available enrollment time.
