Painting & Multi-Media for Kids offers your child ages 7-11 a fun, creative, and educational look into the world of visual arts! He or she will explore the mixing and use of color, experience an introduction to drawing, and begin to convey 3D images and emotion through multiple mediums, starting with acrylic paint. With our hands-on and interactive approach, your child is sure to complete this class with several beautiful pieces of unique artwork and tons of new friends!

Who is this for?

These visual arts classes are for any children, ages 3-13 categorized by age group, who love the get their hands messy, explore expressing ideas and feelings in a visual way, and want to grow in his or her desired artform! We’ll focus primarily on drawing and painting and will also explore other mediums!

What will you learn?

Painting & Multi-Media for Kids offers your child a fun, creative, and educational look into the world of visual arts! He or she will explore the use of color, grasp the concept of planes, and master the ability to convey 3D images and emotion through multiple mediums, starting with acrylic paint. With our hands-on and interactive approach, your child is sure to complete this class with several beautiful pieces of unique artwork and tons of new friends!

What do you need?

In some cases students enrolled in Painting & Multi-Media for Kids will need to bring pictures or items from home upon instruction to use in as inspiration in art or crafts projects. Basic art supplies will be included. We do not recommend wearing expensive clothing to class that you might worry about getting dirty.

Is there a trial for the class?

Yes! Any first time Beautiful Feet Studio of Dance & The Arts member is invited to try one class for free as long as there is space available in the class. You must be pre-registered for the class and you may check space availability for a free trial with a friendly member services assistant by calling 281-456-3338 (FEET). However, some special restrictions apply to fine arts classes; for example, if the class is in the middle of a project or has moved far enough into the 6-month curriculum that a novice student with no basic art experience would have trouble following along with the previously covered concepts, enrollment for the current semester will be denied. Please enroll each year before January and July to enjoy the full 6-month learning experience!

Please note that certain classes will be closed to new enrollment during certain months of the year when partners and members are preparing for performances or during certain fine arts projects. Please express your interest to the owner by emailing Kalette@beautifulfeetstudio.com and we will make you aware of the next available enrollment time.
