Beautiful Feet Studio of Dance & The Arts brings you the most engaging and fun faith-based dance and fine arts summer camps around! Each 2-day camp from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. boasts a different dance style and fine art style centered around a fun and age appropriate encouraging Biblical lesson weaved throughout the joyful experience of training in artistic excellence! The dance and fine arts genres are as follows:
June 25-26: Lyrical Dance & Acrylic Painting
July 16-17: Hip hop/ Jazz Dance & Soft Pastels
July 23-24: Contemporary Dance & Clay Work
Beginner to intermediate level students ages 5-15 are welcome! Check-in time starts at 8:45 a.m. in the Calvary Episcopal Preparatory Gymnasium each day, and pick-up time is at 5:00 p.m. each day. The second day of each camp session is show-off day. Parents: Please arrive at 4:45 p.m. on Day 2 of each camp series if you’d like to enjoy watching your child show and share what they’ve learned! You won’t want to miss it!
Special CREATE Camp T-Shirt included: After enrolling your child, please email Kalette@beautifulfeetstudio.com to notify us of your child’s youth or adult t-shirt size! It will be ready for pick-up in the morning drop off on Day 1, and we ask for each child to wear their camp shirt on Day 2 over his/her leotard or tank for the special show-off performance.
Drop Off & Pick Up: Each parent or guardian is required to come inside to physically sign their child in and out of camp for your child’s safety. If someone besides you is picking up your child, please make us aware of this in writing when you sign them in.
Dress Code: We ask that every student wear comfortable fitted exercise or dance pants. Please do NOT wear shorts or jeans of any kind. Please do not wear clothing that restricts movement, is extraordinarily baggy, or has large buttons or any type of metal. Also, necklaces, bracelets, hoop or dangling earrings, and any rings besides wedding bands are not permitted for safety reasons. Please do not bring your child wearing any of these pieces, as they’ll be asked to remove the item. Female students may wear a leotard and tights if they’d like. Cover up or wrap skirts are permitted during class. A cover-up top is required for traveling to and from the gym. New students are permitted to wear t-shirts or tank in place of a leotard if needed, but proper shoes are required. For Camp #1 and #3 (lyrical and contemporary) students may wear ballet shoes, lyrical sandals, or any modern/contemporary dance shoe. For Camp #2 (hip hop and jazz) students may wear athletic shoes and/or tan or black jazz shoes. Please plan to wear athletic shoes or flip flops traveling to and from the gym. All hair hanging longer than chin length is required to be pulled back in a pony tail or bun. No chewing gum at any time. We recommend having your child bring an extra t-shirt or casual button up shirt you don’t mind them getting a little dirty for the fine arts portion of the camp. 🙂
Food and Drink: Each student should eat a small well-balanced breakfast before arriving to camp each morning. Please pack a healthy, well-balanced lunch in a lunch box for your child with his/her name written on it, including an additional small afternoon snack. Each student needs to bring his/her own sealable/refillable labeled water bottle. We will be staying well hydrated! You may send a few dollars with your child if you’d like for him or her to have the opportunity to purchase a small snack on site.
Medication note: If your child requires any daily prescription medications, please place them in a sealed bag with your child’s name and written instructions and give to the adult staff member at the check-in table upon arrival.
Attendance, Pricing, & Payment: We are SO excited to bring you our 2nd Annual CREATE Summer Camps, and cannot wait to serve you and your family during this time! We are praying for many young lives to be positively impacted in a beautiful way! Each student is required to be present for BOTH days of the 2-day camp. There is not a 1-day pricing option as the experience would not be complete nor fully effective. The cost per child per 2-day camp is $149. Current active Beautiful Feet Studio Members will receive the Special Event Member Discount (Levels 1 & 2 receive 5% off) and (Levels 3 & 4+ receive 10% off). In addition, a sibling discount of $10 will be given when applicable. You must enroll online and pay to officially reserve your child’s space for the camp. Space is limited, and each camp’s staffing, projects, supplies, etc. is structured and planned diligently around those specific students enrolled for each 2-day session. For this reason, camp payments are not refundable after May 1st. Should your membership become in-active, suspended, or terminated after your camp payment has been received, you will be charged the Active Member Discount you received.
