Guest artist Karen “Deedy” Germany holds a Bachelor’s degree in Art Education and over 37 years of teaching experience at many levels! She is passionate about art education for children and adults alike and is thrilled to share her love of art and teaching in weekend workshops at BFS!

Students attending watercolor workshops will learn to work with the paints in a variety of techniques. During the process of creating a painting, students will be able to experiment using salt, tooth brushes, crayons, colored pencils, color mixing, and gradations. “Deedy’s” goal for her students is to have fun during the learning process and feel proud about their accomplishments while growing in their ability!
